Walter Gordinier is a celebrated American Glass Artist, who until 2012 was working exclusively with thick, monolithic cast glass. As a born innovator and master of materials, Walter began to experiment with new techniques to achieve authentic, never before realized sculptural applications in glass. By his own nature Walter has an intuitive propensity to communicate progressive ideas. In 2012 Walter introduced and developed Laminated - Structurally Dynamic Glass specifically for exterior installations. Walter has, through his authentic sense of concept building and pairing his glass with corten steel, stone and wood, produces modern sculpture for private collectors, important corporations, institutions and urban landscapes.
Another serious point of exploration has been the realization of built environments; say an urban plaza; a chapel; a healing garden infused to place and surround, becoming fabric to the architecture; all responsive to client and the artist. The idea is to develop an environment that has a two dimensional lyricism that compliments the art as well as the site.

2016-2013 Developed for the Library Archives Museum project: Introduced the concept and processes for stacking and laminating art glass panels, to yield a structural glass material.
